Volunteer Work on Pain Relief in the Developing World

Since 1995, Douleurs Sans Frontiers (DSF, Pain Without Borders) has advanced the mission of helping those in pain. Based in Europe, DSF is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that has brought educational and clinical pain treatment programs to developing countries.

DSF is the only NGO dedicated specifically to pain relief.

We aim to transfer our knowledge to the countries we serve so that their health care providers quickly become capable of offering pain treatment without our assistance.
Our staff is entirely made up of volunteer physicians, nurses, and psychologists specialized in pain management.
DSF goes to where wars and natural disasters cause upheavals, pain and suffering.
We work in concert with other NGOs and local governments who do not have the resources to provide all the care necessary.
We currently have programs in Mozambique, Cambodia, Angola, Morocco, Tunisia, Armenia and Senegal.
