Upcoming meetings

International Change Pain Symposium Announcement — Vein Conference 2010

The European Federation of Chapters of the International Association for the Study of Pain (EFIC) and Russian Association for the Study of Pain (RASP) will synchronize their efforts to host a Change Pain symposium on February 5, 2010 in Moscow, Russia.

The Change Pain symposium will bring together a multi-disciplinary group of researchers and clinicians to increase awareness about unmet medical needs in the management of chronic pain and to share the latest information about new approaches to pain management.

The symposium will include plenary sessions, interactive pain course and panel discussions. Participants will explore several focus areas, including:

· The prevalence of chronic pain in Russia and Europe

· Neurological diagnosis in chronic pain

· Headache management

· Cyber therapy in pain management

· Pain management in multidisciplinary pain unit setting
